A lunchtime practice at WeWork: all 12 places taken
On 7 October we led a lunchtime session for WeWork members. Every place was taken, and WeWork has since confirmed a long-term partnership with us.

One lunchtime session
On 7 October we led a "Breath & Stress Reset" session for WeWork members. It ran in Cantonese for 45 minutes, and everyone practised seated on a chair. All 12 places were taken.
Why an office needs this hour
An AXA survey published in May last year found that about 60 per cent of Hong Kong workers are affected by work stress, and nearly a quarter have taken sick leave for their mental health. When one person is off, the work lands on colleagues. Stress does not stop at the end of the day, but a few minutes in the middle of a working day can bring the body back to steady.
What happened in the session
Most of the time went on practice. People first learned to notice where their body holds tension, then practised a few techniques of about three minutes each, for use before a meeting, between emails or after lunch.
What comes next
WeWork has since confirmed a long-term partnership with us. We look forward to practising with its members again in the months ahead.
Bring a session to your team
We run 60-minute mindfulness and breathing workshops on site for organisations, in Cantonese or English, all done seated. A first session costs HK$1,800, about HK$90 a head for 20 people. Shirley Chan, our founder, leads every session herself, so dates are limited. Email hello@zensationjourney.org or WhatsApp 6816 4323.
